NSGS was formed to provide sports persons access to professional, insured and registered guides in Nova Scotia.
We work closely with the provincial and federal government, as well as our affiliate organizations to stay informed regarding industry and changes, advocate where necessary, and serve as stewards to our beautiful province.
NSGS is an affiliate of the Nova Scotia Guides Association.
NSGA is an affiliate of Nova Scotia Federation of Anglers and Hunters.
Registered Guide Training Course
We offer an accredited training course to become a Registered Guide, participants can choose Hunting Guide, Fishing Guide, or both.
NSGA Junior Guides School
Summer camp for youth ages 12-16 where they camp out and participate in diverse skill workshops related to the outdoors.
Learn to Fish and Fishing Derbies
As an important part of our public outreach, we host both Learn to Fish programs and Fishing Derbies.
Discounted Professional Insurance
Members benefit from a discounted insurance rate for Registered Guides through Recreation Nova Scotia.
Promotional Opportunities
Members have the opportunity to advertise their Registered Guide business listings on our website, opportunities to attend public facing events, etc.
